This September, The Richard J. Fox Foundation will host and support numerous events in recognition of prostate cancer awareness month. The kick-off event is an outdoor concert, ‘BAN CANCER’ Worth It All … for a cure, to be held on Thursday evening September 6th 2012. The event, to take place at Huizenga Plaza at the Riverwalk, the event will feature award-winning Jazz and R&B artists Roberto Perera, Terry Wollman, Melanie Taylor, the Blue Fire Band, White Collar Crime and Unusual Suspects. Net proceeds from this fundraising event will be made in memory of Richard Mancuso, Fort Lauderdale’s 2012 Citizen of the year to the following: Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Lombardi Cancer Center at Georgetown University Washington DC, Virginia G.
